There are 3 factors that make an extraordinary salesperson. Firstly, the winner's mindset and confidence to believe that you can do it. Secondly, putting your clients' needs as number one priority and the willingness to go the extra mile for them, will set you apart from the crowd.

Thirdly, your attitude determines your altitude. One should always treat your fellow salespersons and clients with sincerity. Of course, all these have to be coupled with continual improvement and having a sound knowledge of the real estate market. It is vital to be even better informed than your clients, to anticipate their needs with the right solutions.

It was such an amazing experience working at the exciting project launches in 2016. As a Project IC leading a team at Sol Acres, we went through different challenges before we became the champion outperforming our joint marketing agency. We dared to try different approaches and did things differently by training our core team and taggers with immense amount of knowledge and closing skills to help our clients, PropNex salespersons and external co-broke agents, before allocating them duties in the showflat. We increased the number of Taggers to assist our fellow PropNexians and made closings easier for them. With high success rates of closing deals, our salespersons became even more motivated to bring in more clients. We feel that more leaders should be involved project sales, so that they can encourage their downlines to see that there are ample opportunities in this segment! We thank the management for their huge support which led us to our success today!

Throughout my career, I believe in the importance of rebranding and reaching out to my consumers through various channels especially on the social media platforms. My clients know that I am approachable and always there for them to depend on for any real estate guidance. On top of always being there for my clients, I also make it a point to build my career based on the correct fundamentals and be guided by the right principles. One should never choose the shortcut method if he or she wants their business to be successful. It has to be a marathon and not a 100m sprint.

I am thankful to be the Champion Branch District Director, and getting the chance to continuously lead my dedicated team of associates in ?Power of Closing? Division. To be a great salesperson, you have to be well-versed about the ins and outs of the real estate market, so that you can direct your consumers to well informed decisions, for them to make right investment decisions. Personally, I find it important to always add value to my associates? lives and careers by being there whenever they need my help and mentorship. On top of that, setting a good example as a leader is also important. I make sure to impart the values of honesty, integrity and humility to each of my salesperson, as these are the values that will bring a salesperson far in the real estate industry. I would like to extend my appreciation to the PropNex Management and staff, team leaders, project ICs and all those who have showered me with support throughout my more than 15 years in PropNex.

I believe that leadership is not about how much you have, but how much you are willing to spend time and support those who trust you. Even if it means sacrificing your personal time, a leader should always remind himself that the more he gives, the more he receives in return. A good leader also starts off as a good follower. In order for your team to grow, it is important as a leader, to be aligned with your division and agency as that will ultimately determine how strong your team will be. On top of building a team, I am also focused in the sales of ECs and Condominiums, which I was initially attracted to, thanks to the sharing of the monthly Top Producers and also the various sales kits and slides by the agency. I also enjoy working with my wife in her first year in the industry and we are truly proud to be the Top 200 performers in 2016, even though we were on holiday and were inactive in the market for more than a month last year!
